History of Neerlandia Banket (Bunschoten)
The name Neerlandia Banket actually belongs to the Bunschoten branch. Originally, Neerlandia Banket was founded in Haarlem in 1930. Ever since it was founded, Neerlandia Banket has been a producer of a wide assortment of cake and pastry products. In 2004, Neerlandia Banket became affiliated with Bakkersland Banket, which already had branches in Ouderkerk a/d IJssel, Oud Gastel, Gorredijk, Moordrecht and Nuth. Following that affiliation, after a couple of years the company name Neerlandia Banket was no longer used.
After Bakkersland Banket had been taken over by Gilde Equity Management Benelux in 2007, the name Bakkersland Banket was changed to Neerlandia Banket. Since 1 January 2008, Neerlandia Banket has formed part of the group of bakeries in Bunschoten, Ouderkerk a/d Ijssel and Oud Gastel. The head office of the current Neerlandia Banket is located on the same site as the bakery in Bunschoten.
The flexible production process at this bakery means that a wide range can be offered. Neerlandia Bunschoten mainly produces butter cake, seasonal products and cake bars.
